ACT1: ACTING FOR THE CURE

In honor of our founder, Moira Thornett, ACT1 is proud to announce that all profit from the Saturday July 26 performance of Sandy Wilson's "The Boy Friend" will be donated to support breast cancer research.  Moira's three daughters Paige, Jenny and Robin will band together as the Journey for Jugs team to walk in the Atlanta Breast Cancer 3 Day.  It's a 60-mile walk over the course of three days that raises funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. In order to make a bold statement in the search for a cure, each participant must raise a minimum of $2200.  ACT1 is delighted to be able to offer support in attempting to exceed that sum and we hope many of you will join us in this endeavor by buying tickets for this particular special tribute performance.  BRAVO, LADIES!!!
