Teen

Theater

The ACT1 Teen Theater is an exciting venture in our Drama Ministry. Founded in 2007, this unique program serves to teach kids in 6th – 12th grades every aspect of putting on a play. Kids will learn acting skills as well as get hands-on experience with everything from making costumes to building sets to running lights and sounds.  While our plays don’t always have an overt religious message, we stress the importance of fellowship and friendliness. We learn to work as a team to bring something special to all our audience members. Our shows are always free to the public as our gift to our community. Our group is all-inclusive and makes it a policy never to hold auditions. Everyone who wants to be a part CAN be a part. They can do whatever they want to do in the production! It is the perfect venue for kids who are too afraid of rejection to audition or kids who want to be involved in theater, but aren’t interested in acting. We provide a warm and caring atmosphere for interests to bloom, talent to shine and kids to encourage one another to step outside their comfort zones.
